Our approach to Respite care.
This service is for people who receive their care from family and friends who are temporarily unavailable or those that require short term live in care services due to an illness or accident.
It can be an ongoing relationship which provides Cheriton Homecare care assistants for a week or two at a time, on a regular basis.
Providing care for a friend or family member can be very demanding and carers normally overlook their own needs and put the needs of the individual they are caring for first. As a carer, it is essential that you take care of yourself so that you are able to care of others.
