Every care plan is unique to the individual, and what works for one client might not work for another. In general, a live-in carer can help with day-to-day activities like food shopping, meal planning, cooking, light housework and gardening. They can also assist with pet care as required.
Personal care is another area where our clients often need assistance. This could include help with washing, dressing, grooming and monitoring your health. We can also assist with continence support and catheter care. Other assistance could include things like managing medication and coordinating with GPs and district nurses to ensure you attend regular checkups.
A live-in carer also helps to keep you engaged and active. They provide companionship to prevent loneliness and will ensure you can get out and about for social activities as required. And finally, they can also ensure you remain connected to family members.
