Finding live-in care

What is live-in care Haslemere?

Live-in care is a type of care that allows a person to get the support they need in their own home. It’s more involved than a health visitor, because the carer lives in the same property, providing care on a fixed schedule. This means that they can stay in their own home, rather than being moved into a care facility.

A live-in caregiver will come to the home and provide all the necessary care, including help with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility and socialising. Live-in carers often become important members of the household and allow individuals to enjoy their lives to the fullest. They allow individuals to live independently and with the dignity they deserve.

How does live-in care work?

The process starts with a home assessment where we will get to know you and your needs. You and your family will also have the opportunity to ask questions about live-in care to clear up any misconceptions. We’ll then create a care plan that will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis.

Once we’ve matched you with a carer, they’ll come and live in your home with you. They’ll provide all the necessary support, including help with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility and providing companionship.

We offer care unique to the individual and can offer condition-specific care, including Alzheimer’s care, Parkinson’s care, end-of-life care, physical disability care and multiple sclerosis care. We recognise that every condition comes with its own unique challenges, and we’ll be here to help you overcome them.
