How does visiting care work?

We start with an initial meeting to get to know you and your specific needs. We can offer recommendations on the ideal frequency of visits to ensure you can maximise the benefits of visiting care.

We use this information to create a care plan, which may be updated as your needs change. We try to ensure you have the same visiting carer every time, as this is the best way to optimise the continuity of care benefits.

Your carer will stay for a minimum of one hour so you can be confident you are receiving an excellent level of care. To get started, it all starts with a simple call.

Meeting your needs

What can visiting carers help with?

The kind of care you receive will be completely unique to you. Some families simply want to arrange a weekly welfare check to ensure an independent relative is still managing their household tasks with ease.

Others may require more regular support, such as daily visits to help with tasks like stocking the fridge or preparing healthy and nutritious meals. You might also simply want help with more hazardous tasks, such as cleaning the stairs or replacing light bulbs.

A visiting care visit is also an ideal opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea and catch up with a friendly face.
